Salisbury University’s Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp) Chapter announces their Balanced Man Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to any full time, undergraduate male student enrolled in the 2016-2017 academic year at Salisbury University.

Applying for the Balanced Man Scholarship in no way obligates the applicant to join or have affiliation with SigEp and the scholarship itself is based only on merit. All applicants will be reviewed and semi-finalists will be selected by a selection committee. After the selection committee makes it decision, all semi-finalists will be asked to attend a 30-minute interview within one months of the application deadline. All applications are due by Friday September 16th, 2016 and those interested in this opportunity can find the application at www.SigEpMDZ.org/BMS

SigEp, the nation’s largest college Fraternity, is awarding over $225,000 during the 2016-2017 academic year with its Balanced Man Scholarships. The Balanced Man Scholarship awards students who exhibit academic excellence, demonstrate leadership skills, and commit to their health and well-being. The Ancient Greeks believed in developing a Sound Mind and a Sound Body as the way to live a fulfilling life. SigEp adopted this philosophy with the Balanced Man Ideal and since 1990 has awarded the Balanced Man Scholarship to some of the best students on campuses across America.

It's almost time to return to campus. Do you know anyone starting at Salisbury this year? We are implementing our Balanced Man Scholarship for 2016. We will be awarding one $1000 scholarship based on merit to a non-member. NO STRINGS or membership requirements attached. Please share the application link with your male friends attending Salisbury in the fall. HTTP://WWW.SIGEPMDZ.ORG/BMS
